About Us
The Vox String Quartet is a group of young professionals that have been performing as a quartet in Madison, WI and the surrounding areas since 2015. Individual members work in various fields including legal, technology, and education. At the end of the day, we all enjoy playing music with each other and sharing that love with others.
Our name, "Vox," is Latin for "voice." Each member of a string quartet has their own voice through the instruments' separate parts. Yet, as a whole the four instruments become one voice, bringing the music to life.
VSQ is available for hire for weddings and events in the Madison, WI area. We can perform any style of music for your event, from classical standards to popular hits. We are best known for our pop/rock covers, and our love of The Danish String Quartet's Last Leaf album.
